During the Fall, Winter and Spring semesters of 2014-2015, our children learned about Jesus and had loads of fun on Wednesday nights!  In the Fall of 2014, students enjoyed the "Transformer" study where they learned about several Biblical characters whose lives were "transformed" by Jesus Christ as well as heard live testimony from a modern-day character about how Jesus changed their life!  In the Winter of 2014-2015, women in Biblical costumes presented Bible monologues for the children and taught about the miracles that Jesus performed... and then one of FBC's own leaders shared about a miracle that he has personally witnessed in his own life!  In the Spring of 2015, one of Phil Robertson's "long-lost relatives," fully dressed in camo and beard taught the children about the parables that Jesus told in the "Faith Commander" study series.  The summer semester of 2015 focused on preparing for Vacation Bible School... and VBS was a HUGE success and tons of fun!  The Fall semester pf 2015 found the boys and girls doing separate studies.  The girls enjoyed a mentoring program called "Appleseeds" while the boys were led by the men of the church through a study called "Journeys."  During the Winter semester of 2015, both groups were busy "Finding Christ in the Christmas Tree"... and the study culminated with a special program called "O Christmas Tree!" on  December 16.  In the Spring of 2016, the girls continued with a study while the boys studied God and space in a study called "Rockets".  A great Easter VBS was held on March 26, 2016, called "Hunting for Easter: Finding the Real Meaning".  (See Photos for pics from the event!)  Then both groups (girls and boys) completed a study called "Oops!  How God Used People Who Made Mistakes!"  VBS 2016 was a lot of fun with great learning.  An "Olympic" back-to-school event was held in August... and then a Fall study called "Bible Studies for Life" was held.  Winter 2016 and Spring 2017 moved into the "Bible Busters" program with a focus on learning lessons from Genesis.  The children performed a special program on a Sunday morning which focused on Creation and Adam and Eve and which featured their many craft items completed during the study.
